Founder & Chief Executive Officer
As founder and chief executive officer, Mr. Shah provides overall strategic guidance for the Noble organization and heads its investment committee.
He has been profiled in Newsweek magazine as one of the most influential South Asians in the United States, named as one of Atlanta’s most prominent leaders by Atlanta Magazine and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and as one of the 21st century’s most influential hospitality industry leaders by both Lodging and Lodging Hospitality magazines. He has been awarded the prestigious IREFAC Arne Sorenson Award for his industry leadership, has been named Penn State University’s Executive of the Year, and has been honored by the UJA Federation of New York in recognition of his professional and philanthropic achievements.
Mr. Shah was chairman of the board for LaQuinta (NYSE: LQ) and CorePoint Lodging REIT (NYSE: CPLG) prior to their successful realizations for shareholders. He presently serves as an executive committee member of the board of directors for the American Hotel and Lodging Association, is co-chairman of its Industry Real Estate and Finance Advisory Council, and is a member of the owner boards for Marriott International, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Mr. Shah is an active supporter of educational objectives and is currently serving his fifth term as a member of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Wake Forest University, where he is chairman of its investment committee.
BEN BRUNT
Managing Principal & Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Brunt is a managing principal and chief investment officer responsible for leading a team of investment professionals to accomplish Noble’s strategic acquisition and development goals. This involves the sourcing and underwriting of all new investments encompassing individual asset and portfolio acquisitions, land and new development opportunities, market and investment analysis, and brand positioning.
Prior to joining Noble in 2005, Mr. Brunt held senior investment roles at Songy Partners and Hardin Capital. He began his career in hotels with Homestead Village, a mid-scale extended stay lodging brand founded by Security Capital Group, and has more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience.
Mr. Brunt earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BA from Trinity College. He is a former professional violinist and spent two years as a member of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Brunt currently serves as a board member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Midtown Alliance, and the Buckhead Coalition. He is also a member of the AHLA Lodging Investment Council and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
ADI BHOOPATHY
Managing Principal & Head of Capital Markets
Mr. Bhoopathy is a managing principal and head of capital markets responsible for debt relationships, asset dispositions, and transaction management. In addition, he leads contract documentation and closings related to new acquisitions, development, and financing for all investments.
Mr. Bhoopathy has more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience and has participated in more than $4.5 billion worth of real estate transactions for the Noble organization since joining the firm in 1999. He became a partner in 2006 and is a regular panelist at lodging, investment, and financing conferences.
Mr. Bhoopathy earned a BS from the Cornell University School of Hospitality and is a past-president of the Cornell Georgia Chapter and the Atlanta Hospitality Alliance. He is also a member of the Atlanta Capital Markets Council for the Urban Land Institute. He is a member of Noble’s Fellowship Committee.
STEVEN NICHOLAS
Managing Principal & Head of Asset Management
Mr. Nicholas is a managing principal and head of asset management responsible for leading Noble's hotel operating strategy and overseeing Noble's third-party hotel operating relationships and asset performance.
Prior to joining Noble in 1997, Mr. Nicholas held senior roles at PROMUS Hotels before its acquisition by Hilton. He has more than 30 years of hospitality industry experience and began his career in hotel operations.
Mr. Nicholas earned an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a BA in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. He currently serves as a board member for the American Hotel and Lodging Association, is the Past President and member of the Strategic Advisory Council of the Hotel Asset Manager Association, on the executive board of the Georgia Hospitality and Lodging Association (GHLA), and is a member of Georgia State University's Hospitality Industry Board and Wesleyan School's Diversity Board. Mr. Nicholas is also a member of the Advisory Committee for Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, and is a former President and the current Southeast Vice President of the Cornell Hotel Society. He is a member of Noble’s Organizational Responsibility Committee and Volunteering Committee.
GEORGE DABNEY
Managing Principal & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Dabney is a managing principal and chief financial officer responsible for institutional fund management, financial administration, audit, and investor relations. He leads a team responsible for internal and external reporting, treasury operations, risk management, tax, human resources, and information technology.
Prior to joining Noble in 2021, Mr. Dabney was Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Hotel Properties (formerly known as Thayer Lodging), the hospitality platform for Brookfield, a $725 billion global alternative asset manager. He has nearly 25 years of hospitality industry experience.
Mr. Dabney earned his MBA in Financial Management from the University of Maryland, holds a BA in Accounting from Penn State University, and started his career at Ernst & Young as a CPA. He is a member of the Penn State University Philanthropy Council Steering Committee for the College of Health and Human Development. In 2019, Penn State's School of Hospitality Management honored him with their Alumni of the Year Award. He is a member of Noble’s Organizational Responsibility Committee.
KEVIN GRASS
Managing Principal & Head of Design and Development
Mr. Grass is a managing principal and head of design and development responsible for leading Noble's project management team to execute renovation, redevelopment, and new construction projects.
Prior to joining Noble in 2005, Mr. Grass was executive vice president for the Winter Construction Company, where he created the hospitality division and managed all construction-related operations. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council and has more than 30 years of hospitality industry experience.
Mr. Grass earned a BS in Construction Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves as a member of Hilton’s Owner Advisory Council and is a past board member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia and the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia. He is a member of Noble’s Organizational Responsibility Committee.
ANGELA JOHNSON
Managing Principal and Head of Global Client Solutions and Strategic Partnerships
Mrs. Johnson is a Managing Principal and Head of Global Client Solutions and Strategic Partnerships, where she is responsible for managing Noble's client relationships and cultivating innovative new strategies and investment products. Mrs. Johnson serves as a member of the Noble Investment Committee.
Before joining Noble in 2024, Mrs. Johnson was a Partner at Fifth Wall, where she led a team focused on global capital formation and investor relations. Mrs. Johnson has held various capital formation and product development roles at Torchlight Investors, KKR, and Partners Group. Mrs. Johnson began her career in hotels at RLJ Development (now RLJ Lodging Trust) where she held acquisitions, capital markets, and portfolio management roles. She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Mrs. Johnson earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the BBA Advisory Board for the McCombs School of Business, the Texas McCombs Real Estate Center Executive Council, the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), and New York Women in Real Estate (WX).

KATHERINE SEITZ

Mrs. Seitz is the compliance officer responsible for the oversight and administration of Noble’s regulatory and compliance functions. She helps provide leadership for Noble’s organizational responsibility endeavors.
Prior to joining Noble in 2023, Mrs. Seitz was corporate counsel for Carter’s, Inc. She has practiced law and served as in-house counsel focusing on real estate and corporate services for nearly twenty years.

He was previously managing principal with Hardin Capital, a joint venture between DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners and Hardin Construction, where he led investment and asset management activities. Mr. Williams previously held senior executive roles with Coopers & Lybrand, InterContinental Hotels, and Laventhol & Horwath. He has more than 40 years of hospitality industry experience and began his career in hotel operations.
Mr. Williams earned a BA in Business and French from Rutgers University. He currently serves on the owner's advisory board for Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
JOEL EISEMANN
Senior Advisor
Mr. Eisemann is a senior advisor.
He most recently served as Chief Development Officer, Americas for IHG Hotels & Resorts before retiring in 2022 after eleven years. Under his leadership, IHG launched five new brands in the Americas and grew to approximately 5,000 hotels open and in the pipeline. Previously, Mr. Eisemann was with Marriott International for twenty-nine years as Chief Development Officer of Select-Service and Extended-Stay Brands, Chief Owner & Franchise Relations Officer, EVP of Global Asset Management, and SVP of Lodging Development in Asia Pacific.
Mr. Eisemann earned a Master of Professional Studies from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and an A.B. in Economics from Stanford University. He is a member of the AHLA Hospitality Investment Roundtable, a past member of the AHLA Board, and a past co-chairman of the AHLA HotelPAC. Mr. Eisemann is also a member of the Cornell Center for Real Estate and Finance.
